If you enjoy creating learning environments where children can develop independence, confidence, and experience joy, this may be the job for you.

Responsibilities :

> Partners with the classroom lead teacher and other members of the toddler-level faculty to create a nurturing, vibrant, and safe environment for children. > Ensures that the classroom is always well-prepared and organized. Helps to create new materials and ensure that existing materials and shelves are routinely cleaned and organized. > Assumes a leading role in the supervision of both classroom and playground to ensure the safety and physical well-being of the children at all times. Provides toilet-training support. > Assists in redirecting and supervising children throughout the day. Serves as a social-emotional role model in the classroom. Montessori educational philosophy will be provided. > Committed to the Equity Mission at FCM to work towards “dismantling biases and creating equitable experiences for every member of our community.” Qualifications > Keen observational skills > Punctuality is essential > Organized and attentive to detail > Ability to move with ease from floor and desk work. > Associates or Bachelors Degree > Excellent communicator and collaborator > Warm, professional, and calm demeanor > Reliable and consistent attendance > Great sense of humor > Interest in/knowledge of Montessori principles; Montessori training is not required.
