Infant Teacher Assistant Wolfeboro Children’s Center Wolfeboro, NH 03894 Summary The Children’s Center is looking for Infant Teacher Assistant to join our team and help maintain an ideal ratio of 3 to1. This position is 32+ hours a week and requires flexibility in schedule. The position reports to the Infant/Toddler Coordinator and works well with the Infant team providing on demand care for children 6 weeks to 1year. Duties Assisting Teacher care for up to 8 Infants daily Actively engage with children ages 6 weeks-1 year Maintaining a clean classroom space Help provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment. Following developmentally appropriate feeding schedules Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to childcare center. Follow all center policies and state regulations. Maintain 18 hours of Professional Development yearly Ability to work within the hours of 630a- 6p, with flexibly based on classroom needs Requirements Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience. ECE credits preferred with a minimum of 3 credits in Child Growth and Development. High energy. Ability to work well with others. Strong oral and written communication skills.
