Job Description
The Jaffrey Rindge Cooperative School District is seeking applications for a full-time Para Educator position to fill an open position supporting students in grades 4 and 5 at Rindge Memorial School. Desired candidates will have a high school diploma and experience working with a team. Experience working in a school setting is preferred. The ability to follow directives and be flexible in day-to-day activities a must. Some positions may include supporting activities of daily living, some bending, and the ability to sit on the floor. Full time positions include benefits.
Primary Role
Assist teacher in all facets of daily student support. This can vary between teachers, schools, and
throughout the District. Duties may include instructional and behavioral support. Teacher/supervisor
provides regularly scheduled time with Instructional Associate to provide adequate direction as to
his/her role and function in the program. Assignments may require supporting activities of daily living
including toileting and/or feeding.

  • Provide accurate instruction to students as directed by teacher/supervisor.
  • Collect and maintain data accurately.
  • Provide flexible support in varied learning styles and needs.
  • Provide positive and appropriate behavioral support.
