Key Responsibilities:
Assist certified teachers with instructional and behavioral support in the classroom Provide individualized or small group support to students, including those with IEPs or 504 plans Aid in classroom organization and preparation of materials Document student progress and behavior under the direction of licensed educators Support classroom management and maintain a positive, safe learning environment Minimum Qualifications (Per New Hampshire Department of Education): High school diploma or equivalent AND one of the following: 48 college credits from an accredited institution Associates degree or higher Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment Must complete a criminal background check and fingerprinting per NH state law Ability to follow written and verbal directions, and work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with students in a school or educational setting Familiarity with supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges Basic knowledge of instructional strategies and classroom technology
