Our education team is dedicated to helping students reach their full academic potential in a nurturing and supportive environment. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled paraprofessional to join our team and assist students with their academic and behavioral needs. As a paraprofessional with Regency Home Health, LLC, you will work directly with students in 1-on-1 or small group settings to provide academic assistance. You will support students with their learning goals, offer encouragement, and implement individualized strategies to help them succeed. This position may also involve supporting students with behavioral needs, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist students with academic tasks, assignments, and projects. Provide support to students in 1-on-1 or small group settings. Support students with behavioral needs, helping to create a safe and effective learning environment. Follow instructional plans and strategies developed by the education team. Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their academic success and personal growth. Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to address students’ individual needs.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or working with special education children is required. Ability to assist with both academic and behavioral needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students’ success. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Training will be provided by Regency Home Health, LLC prior to the start of the position.
