VocoVision is expanding our team of virtual educators with a Special Education Teacher position focused on supporting middle and high school students in Manchester, New Hampshire. Position Details
37.5 hours per week virtual instruction schedule
Secondary level support (grades 6-12)
Resource room model with emphasis on academic skills
Manageable caseload of approximately 45-55 students
Combination of small group and individual instruction
Core Responsibilities
Create and implement IEPs aligned with New Hampshire educational standards
Develop and deliver specialized instruction in core academic areas
Provide accommodations and modifications for virtual learning environment
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
Collaborate with general education teachers on inclusive practices
Facilitate virtual IEP meetings with educational teams and families
Support students with organizational and executive functioning skills
Prepare older students for transition to post-secondary environments
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Special Education
Valid New Hampshire special education teaching license
Minimum 2 years of experience in school-based special education
Experience with middle/high school curriculum and instructional strategies
Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
