Job Description

Administrative Program Assistant National Safety Council – New England Chapter 2 Whitney Rd, Concord, NH 03301 Job Summary The National Safety Council – New England Chapter (NSCNEC) is in search for a dynamic full time (40/hr. wk.) Administrative Program Assistant to work from our Concord, NH office to support our program training and support with classes and Conferences. NSCNNE is a leader in providing quality, affordable Safety and Health Training, Annual Safety Conferences and Safety Products in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Our Occupational Safety, Defensive Driving and First Aid/CPR /AED programs are offered monthly in a variety of locations throughout New England. Responsibilities and Duties Answer incoming calls and emails Schedule training classes and instructors Process registrations for training programs Room setup and breakdown for training programs / AV needs Database management to include setting up classes in the council database and to record class attendance Post classes on our website and on our online training calendar Generate mailings for membership renewals and our events to include production of mailing labels, letters and flyers Create and send class completion certificates Schedule room rentals Make occasional deliveries or pickups Qualifications and Skills Strong Interpersonal and customer service skills Written / verbal communication ability Organizational skills Time management skills Computer skills: technical experience using Microsoft Office and willingness to learn other computer software.
