The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with developmental milestones and educational standards, while also incorporating Montessori principles to enhance learning experiences. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Educate children in various subjects, including language, mathematics, science, and arts through interactive activities. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. Foster strong relationships with students to encourage their growth and development. Monitor and assess children’s progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations. Provide individualized support and tutoring as needed to meet the diverse needs of students. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Requirements Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Familiarity with Montessori methods is preferred but not required. Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an orderly learning environment. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Certification in First Aid/CPR is a plus.
