You would be working with a head teacher. Our candidate woul help to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for our students. The successful candidate will be responsible with assisting the teacher with needs of the classroom, such as, supervising children, helping prep projects and general classroom assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an environment that encourages learning and exploration. • 2026 school year beginning in September 2. Beechwood is seeking a morning teacher assistant 8am
• 1pm or 8am
• 2:30pm.

This is an excellent choice for students and those seeking part time employment. The morning position may be extended to a full day postion.

Responsibilities:

Support the teacher with creating and implementing developmentally appropriate activities. Observe children’s development and progress. Assist in the development of children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. Communicate with parents when necessary. Assist behavior management strategies.
