Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring smooth transitions between different tasks. Assess and monitor each child’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Engage in budgeting for classroom supplies and resources, ensuring efficient use of materials. Demonstrate leadership by guiding teaching assistants and volunteers within the classroom. Qualifications A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field from an accredited university is preferred. Experience in education administration or strategic planning is beneficial. Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse group of children effectively. Excellent communication skills to educate children and engage with parents.
