!! Our growing childcare facility is looking for a Teacher Assistant who can help to create a fun environment and incorporate educational programs that assist in our children’s development. The Teacher Assistant will be responsible for monitoring and teaching the children in our program, assisting in developing a curriculum that the children will respond to positively and partnering with our team to enhance the learning environment at our school. Teacher Assistant responsibilities Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents Deliver reports on potential concerns about students as to management as needed Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child Create activities that are fun and educational for the children Manage day-to-day classroom activities
Skills Required:
2+ years’ experience working with children in a classroom setting preferred Strong knowledge of State Licensing standards Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Caring and nurturing attitude towards children Excellent verbal and written communication skills
