September 8, 2025 – June 12, 2026 Role Overview We are looking for dedicated paraprofessionals to support Passport to Learning enrichment programs. Successful candidates will assist classroom instructors and provide meaningful support to students during after-school programming. Qualifications Current paraprofessional status (Substitute license preferred) Prior Passport to Learning experience (Preferred) Availability for both time blocks (Preferred) Strong attendance record in prior academic year (Preferred) Flexibility and consistency to support classroom needs (Mandatory) We reserve the right to adjust schedules as needed to match student enrollment and instructional needs. Scheduling Options Block 1: 3:15-4:15 PM Block 2: 4:15-5:15
PM Full Session:
3:15-5:15 PM (Preferred) Assignments may include one or both blocks depending on program needs and staffing alignment.
Compensation Details Paraprofessional Rate:
As per HSEA contract
Substitute Rate:
If a paraprofessional with a valid substitute license serves as the sole instructor in any room on any day, they will be compensated at the certified teacher (HEA) rate. Substitute Teachers working as a paraprofessional – $18/hour
