Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of Jersey is seeking a Program Assistant – Casual for the Professional Science Master’s Program. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Provides administrative and confidential support to the Master of Business Science’s program faculty and staff.
Collects data and updates via electronic files using Excel such as student employment, alumni employment, and sharing documents via Google Drive.
Creates flyers using Canva or Adobe for events such as career panels, virtual Fridays, professional development workshops, networking events, alumni events, etc.
Designs surveys using Qualtrics, analyzing the results and presenting in various formats.
Revises/designs presentation materials using MS PPT, and videos using Zoom or PowToon.
Co-facilitates/co-manages alumni relations.
Co-manages Graduway Platform in support of the PSM team.
Co-strategizes the Alumni marketing.
Handles confidential documents.
Performs other duties as assigned. FLSA Nonexempt
Salary Details $17.00 – $25.00/hourly

Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience •Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
•Two (2) years relevant experience in an administrative function, good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy. Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Comfortability with working with and learning new technology (Graduway, Salesforce, Navigate, Qooper, etc.).
Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Organizational skills, professionalism, and detail-oriented.
Strong communication skills both verbally and written. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Zoom, Qualtrics, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite. Equipment Utilized Physical Demands and Work Environment Expected to report to campus for meetings and special events, but there is also flexibility for remote work. Special Conditions Comfortability with working remotely with occasional campus visits for meetings and events.
