PRESCHOOL ASSISTANT TEACHER

REQUIRED.
Alphabets Preschool Center is a Community Provider for the Asbury Park School District. We provide preschool education for 3-4 year olds and 4-5 year olds. Position begins immediately. Hours for summer months of July and August are 8:30-4:00 and are paid at $20.00/hour. Hours for 2025-2026 school year September through June are 8:30-3:30. Salary for Step 1 is $36,646. This will increase when the Asbury Park School District sets their new salary guides after the contract renewal process is completed. Health benefits are offered for this position. Alphabets Preschool Center offers a non-traditional setting with open classrooms and innovative practices.
Applicant Requirements:
- A minimum of an AA degree in any area
- Knowledge of Early Childhood best practices and classroom management
- Able to assist in working with both a 3-4 year old classroom and a 4-5 year year old preschool classroom
- Knowledge of Creative Curriculum is a plus
- Experience working with 3-5 year olds
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with staff, administration and families
- Bilingual (Spanish) is extremely helpful No phone calls please.
