Assistant General Manager and Instructor Little Dolphins Swim Academy Bound Brook, NJ 08805 Company Description The Little Dolphins Swim Academy is an independently created and owned swim school located in Bound Brook, New Jersey that teaches students from 8 weeks to 80 years old skills in swimming safety and proficiency. LDSA was founded by Hall of Fame Swim Coach Chuck Warner in 2010 who is the current owner. The facility is owned by Coach Warner as well. Job Posting Add to our “dream team!” The Little Dolphins Swim Academy seeks a long-term relationship with a new member of our leadership team what will have a strong focus on the day-to-day operation of our site in Bound Brook. This is a full-time position that best fits someone who embraces LDSA’s core values of Compassion, Empowerment, Family and Excellence, and finds fulfillment in producing superb work with a team that serves our constituency and community. Administrative responsibilities are likely to include processing registrations and makeups, class construction, customer care and the training of others to effectively carry out these responsibilities. About 40% of the work week will be teaching. About 30 % of the work week will be supervising classes and coaches. Skills in marketing and social media will be considered a positive attribute. At least one weekend shift (4-8 hrs) will be required. Evening work (to about 8:30 pm) two – three times a week will be required. Work week will likely be Sunday-Thursday.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Customer Service and Communication skills Organizational and Problem-Solving skills Experience in the swim industry is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferred) 2-5 years of managerial or supervisory experience Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch or swim for up to 5 hours in the water Ability to lift, hold, and/or move equipment or small child up to 50 pounds The job requires a full time, long term intention and two-three evening and one weekend shift. Maintain current certifications and stay up to date professionally on the aquatics and management fields.
