Job Summary:

Coryer Staffing is seeking passionate and dedicated teaching assistants to join our client’s early childhood education team. The ideal candidates will foster a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment that supports each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the development and implementation of lesson plans that are aligned with approved curriculum and classroom learning goals. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports all learners. Provide daily structure and routine that includes opportunities for active play, exploration, and discovery. Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment in compliance with

NYS OCFS

regulations. Expand job knowledge and classroom skills on an on Communicate effectively and regularly with staff and supervisors and with families Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to meet individual student needs. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences. Ensure classroom and facility cleanliness at all times

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Knowledge of NYS Early Learning Guidelines and OCFS training requirements. Meet all background checks and health requirements as required by

NYS OCFS.

CPR/AED/First Aid certified or the ability to obtain within 60 days of employment Ability to move quickly to interact and react to children in all settings (classroom, outside, etc) Ability to move around the room to assist children and supervise children with daily activities, social interactions, physical and emotional needs.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learning needs. Effective communicator with children, families, and staff.
