ANTICIPATED PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHING ASSISTANT FULL-TIME POSITION LOCATION
Amherst Middle School SALARY:
$19.00/HOUR plus payment for additional credit hours, if applicable
HOURS:
32.5 hours/week
START DATE

QUALIFICATIONS:
TEACHING ASSISTANTS MUST HAVE TEACHING ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION OR NYS TEACHER CERTIFICATION NYS PHYSICAL EDUCATION/HEALTH CERTIFICATION PREFERRED LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION PREFERRED CURRENT CPR/FIRST AID CERTIFICATION REQUIRED MUST BE FINGERPRINTED THROUGH THE NYS DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION PRIOR TO START DATE

JOB SUMMARY
A Teaching Assistant assists with instruction and classroom management under the supervision of the classroom Physical Education/Health Teacher. They must perform duties within and outside the classroom. Please see detailed job description attached to the posting
