The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and experience working with young children, including toddlers and preschoolers. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in fostering children’s growth, learning, and social skills. Summer Program hours available. Duties Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities. Provide care and supervision for children in the classroom, ensuring their safety and well-being. Support children in developing social skills through interactive play and group activities. Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment. Observe and document children’s progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher. Engage with children during activities to promote learning and curiosity. Assist with caregiving tasks such as diaper changes, meal preparation, and nap time routines. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s development and daily activities. Skills Experience in toddler care or preschool settings is highly desirable. Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Ability to educate and engage young children through creative play and structured activities. Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
