Camp Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Associate Teachers and Camp Counselors to join our school for an exciting summer camp school program. You will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children to learn and grow. This is a great opportunity for college students and teachers with time off interested in learning more about Montessori education and growing their experience while enjoying summer fun with students ages 3 months to 5 years old. Our Summer Program is exclusively for students already enrolled at Paché Montessori and leverages our outdoor areas for students to engage in art, crafts, sports, movement, gardening, and even sprinkler play in addition to their time within the classroom. The program is led by our incredible team of permanent Associate Guides who act as leaders for individuals who join as Associate Guides for the summer. We are open to both full-time 8-5 and part-time applicants. Please specify your preference when contacting us.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage students in various activities and games
• Implement age-appropriate educational and recreational programs
• Assist with the organization of daily schedules and activities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times
• Provide positive guidance and support to students

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a camp, daycare, or educational setting
• A joyful disposition and love of working with children
• Ability to interact with children, parents, and co-workers in a warm, empathetic, competent, and respectful manner
• Willingness and ability to toilet train, change diapers, and clean
• Punctuality and dependability Nice to haves, but not required:
• Montessori experience
• Fluency in Spanish to work with our Spanish immersion children (about one-third of our children are in our Spanish immersion program)
• Background in early childhood education, childcare, theater, or related field is a plus Additional bonuses are available to teachers who have educational degrees in Early Childhood Education or have NY teaching certificates.
