The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children. This role involves working closely with toddlers and young children, fostering their development through various educational activities and ensuring their safety and well-being. The Assistant Teacher will play a crucial role in implementing lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and providing individualized support to students, including those with special needs. Responsibilities Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education and early childhood development. Provide care and supervision for toddlers, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Support classroom management by maintaining order and encouraging positive behavior among students. Engage with children in educational activities that promote learning and social skills. Collaborate with lead teachers to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Experience Previous experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is preferred. Familiarity with literacy education techniques and behavior management strategies is beneficial. Experience in lesson planning or classroom management will be considered an asset. A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their development is essential.
