The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for young children. This role is essential in fostering the development of children through engaging activities, effective communication, and a commitment to early childhood education principles. Candidates with experience in childcare settings, particularly in private schools or daycare environments, will find this position rewarding. Duties Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities tailored to children’s developmental needs. Supervise and engage with children during classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Support toddlers and preschoolers in their social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning. Help maintain an organized classroom setting that reflects the curriculum and encourages exploration. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Participate in curriculum development initiatives to enhance learning experiences for students. Foster a positive relationship with children, promoting respect, cooperation, and a love for learning. Assist with classroom management and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications Experience or education in early childhood education or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in preschool or toddler care. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational frameworks is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children. Ability to adapt to changing situations and maintain a positive attitude in the classroom.
