Assistant Teacher for an Infants and Toddler Community Miss Debbie’s Creative Childcare 81 Jamaica Avenue, Plainview, NY 11803 Miss Debbie’s Creative Childcare, a licensed and registered child care center in Plainview, Long Island, is looking for a warm, nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our Infant and Toddler team! What You’ll Do:

As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll support the classroom’s daily operations while working under the guidance of the Lead Teacher. Your day will be filled with laughter, stories, cuddles, singing, helping with feedings/diapering, and playing alongside our youngest learners.

Responsibilities Include:

Assisting the Lead Teacher in implementing the daily routine and age-appropriate activities Providing gentle, responsive care to infants and toddlers Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom Supporting diaper changes, feedings, and nap routines Engaging with children through play, music, movement, and learning activities Communicating positively with families and co-workers Ensuring compliance with O.C.F.S. regulations and center policies

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience working with infants or toddlers strongly preferred Must be nurturing, dependable, and eager to work as part of a team Must be willing to obtain required background clearances and training per O.C.F.S. regulations
