Job Description
Assistant Teacher St. Joseph School – Yorkville 420 East 87th Street, New York, NY 10128 St. Joseph’s School – Yorkville is looking for a kind-hearted and engaging educator to join us this academic year. An overview of job responsibilities are: Work with teacher in creating a happy learning environment by implementing a variety of appropriate teaching strategies Plan with and assist teacher in preparing materials and supplies in advance for class activities Assist teacher in implementing blended learning and small group instruction Support teacher in maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment Help with lunch duty and other assignments as necessary Exhibit a genuine nurturing and caring attitude to all children Maintain a cooperative attitude working with the administration, staff, teacher and parents Possibility to grow into a full time teaching position as openings occur
