SCHEDULE

37.5 hours per week, 44 weeks per year.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED. Experience working with preschool children in a group setting. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Good communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Some or all of the following duties may be performed as required by your assigned site supervisor: Working in conjunction with a lead teacher and a teacher assistant, provide a safe and engaging learning environment for all 4-year-old children in assigned classroom, and ensure that they are supervised at all times. Assist the classroom team in implementing a child-centered, quality early childhood classroom. Assist in completing observations of children. Input daily attendance and meal counts into database. Serve as a monitor on a school bus as needed, assisting children with fastening seat belts and making sure that children are safe during transport.
