State Route 52, Pine Bush, NY 12566 We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in providing quality care and education to our students.

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and curriculum for students.
• Provide support and guidance to students , ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Help students develop literacy skills through various activities and exercises.
• Assist in behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to plan and organize classroom activities.
• Support students in their social and emotional development.
• Provide individualized attention and assistance to students who require additional support.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Assist with diaper changes, potty training, meals/snacks, etc.

Experience:

• Previous experience working with children, is preferred.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development is a plus.
• Experience working in a preschool or educational setting is desirable.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid certification or training related to education or childcare
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and understanding towards children’s needs
