• Duties
• Assist teachers in preparing and delivering lessons to students of varying ages and abilities
• Provide individualized support to students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and classroom management
• Engage in childcare and toddler care activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students
• Support the development of lesson plans and educational materials
• Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities, such as art, music, and physical education
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom, adhering to safety protocols and health regulations
• Provide babysitting and nannying support when needed, ensuring the care of students outside of regular school hours
• Develop a rapport with students, understanding their needs and providing support when necessary
• Skills
• Experience working with children, including babysitting, nannying, and childcare
• Experience working with students of various ages and abilities
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to educate and support students in an engaging and interactive way
• Experience in behavior management and creating a positive learning environment
• Familiarity with classroom settings and educational materials
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide support to teachers and other support staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information
• Physical stamina to support students with varying needs and abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting
