Full Time Lead Infant and Toddler Teachers & Assistant Teachers @ Duanesburg Daycare 2.0 2.0 out of 5 stars 185 Mott Road, Duanesburg, NY 12056 We are looking for dynamic individuals to lead early learning programs at our Duanesburg Daycare Center. These early learning childcare positions support the work of the Y, a leading charity committed to strengthening our community. These roles help to create a positive learning environment, nurture relationships, and support the potential of all children at site as part of the overall daycare experience.

Lead Infant Teacher (1) Lead Toddler Teacher (1) Assistant Infant & Toddler Teachers (3)
LEAD INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER
– $18.94 PER
HOUR – MANAGES THE ASSIGNED CLASSROOM REQUIRED DOCUMENT
(S): College degree/Transcripts, OR Child Development Credential, AND Resume (w/ALL supervisory & childcare experience) AAS in Child Development, Elementary Ed., Physical Ed., Recreation or related field with no prior experience OR Child Development Associate Credential WITH one (1) year prior experience OR 9 college credits in Child Development, Elementary Ed., Physical Ed., Recreation or related field WITH two (2) years direct experience working with children under the age of 13. Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities. Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred. Previous experience with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds.
ASSISTANT TEACHER
– $15.90 PER
HOUR – LEADS CLASSROOM ACTIVITES & SUPPORTS TEACHER REQUIRED DOCUMENT
(S): College degree/Transcripts, OR HS Diploma/GED AND Resume (w/ALL childcare experience) Must be 18 years of age. High School Diploma/GED required. Two (2) years direct experience with children under age 13 required.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL DAYCARE POSITIONS
Day 1 of
Employment:
Completed Physical and TB Test (within the last year) Day 30 of
Employment:
Completed CPR, AED, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens and Child Abuse Prevention Day 90 of
Employment:
Completed New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, NYS OCFS Health & Safety and ALICE (Active Shooter). Day 180 of
Employment:
