Category Schools – Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Soliant has an opening for a contracted Paraprofessional in a supportive school district in the area. This position is for the 2023-2024 School Year. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience working with children Experience supporting SLP services Desire to help special education students Skills & Abilities Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices Ability to support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, teachers, SLPs, and parents Ability to adapt instructional strategies, materials, and resources to meet diverse learning needs Proficient in assisting with speech-language activities under SLP direction Knowledge of specialized teaching techniques, assistive technologies, and resources for students with special needs Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with students with diverse learning abilities Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills to effectively support classroom dynamics and individual student needs If you are interested in this rewarding opportunity, please apply and contact Alysa Paisley directly at or (864) 519-6557.
