positions ONLY for the following: Toddler Assistant Teacher Infant Assistant Teacher

THESE POSITIONS REQUIRE A CDA OR A DEGREE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

These positions require a positive attitude, creativity, collaboration, and a deep understanding of how to best engage and teach children. Our teachers promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children under their care and work with the school’s staff to create an environment of learning while keeping the parents informed of the progress of their child.

Essential functions of the positions:

• Ensures that the physical, social, and emotional needs of the children are met daily.
• Ensures all policies and procedures to keep the children healthy and safe are implemented.
• Promote “learning through play” philosophy and educational objectives.
• Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child’s day.
• Complete all daily paperwork: for example, daily notes, student accident reports and attendance reports.
• Attends all mandatory staff meetings.
• Assist children with mealtimes and cleanup.
• Teamwork between the center’s staff.
• Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
