Teacher’s Assistant 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 201 Boulevard, Scarsdale, NY 10583 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher’s Aide to support our educators in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and experience working with children, including those with special educational needs. As a Teacher’s Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with lesson planning, classroom management, and fostering positive relationships with students. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Support children in their learning processes by providing individualized attention and assistance. Help maintain an organized and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning. Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to the lead teacher. Facilitate small group activities and assist with classroom management. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student needs and progress. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to childhood education. Requirements Experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Familiarity with special education strategies is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to assist in lesson planning and adapt activities for diverse learners. Experience in toddler care is beneficial for positions involving younger age groups.
