Up to $53/hr based on experience Connected Health Care, a recruitment and staffing firm focused on Healthcare and Educational Services, is partnering with an esteemed Educational Services client to find a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher specializing in Life Skills Support near Gettysburg, PA.
Job Description:
Provide individualized instruction and support to students with life skills needs. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment. Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions to promote student engagement and success. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Education and Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field. Pennsylvania state certification in Special Education. Endorsement or certification in Life Skills Support preferred.
