One and Two Year Old Toddler Teacher Assistant 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars Douglassville, PA 19518 We will be interviewing for this role and looking to hire 2 candidates come the new school year – end of August start date. St. Paul’s Child Development Center is looking for two patient, structured and motivated individuals to fill the need of a Assistant Toddler Teacher in our one and two year old classrooms. Responsibilities include helping the lead implement daily and weekly lesson plans, recording observations daily, written and verbal communication with parents, etc.

Position Purpose:

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for the needs and/or problems of the children as individuals and as a group. Maintains and operates the Child Care Center in compliance with state regulations regarding the physical safety and well-being of the children who attend the Center.

Requirement/Education:

Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, or CDA is preferred but is not required. BS/BA is a plus. The candidate will also be required to acquire and maintain additional trainings and certifications per state licensing requirements. All potential candidates must complete all required background checks per Department of Human Services regulations including FBI Fingerprinting, PA State Police Background Check, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and National Sex Offender Registry Clearance. The candidates must also complete a health assessment and TB test prior to employment. Full Time Hours of 8am-4pm or 8:30am-4:30pm. Salary negotiable based on education and experience. Paid time off and paid holidays after 90 day probationary period.
