Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate paraprofessionals to join our team and provide essential support to students and teachers in the classroom. As a paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment while assisting with academic, behavioral, and personal needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or group support to students under the direction of the classroom teacher. Assist in implementing lesson plans, classroom activities, and accommodations. Support students with special needs, including academic, behavioral, or physical assistance as required. Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages student growth and participation. Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and recess, ensuring safety and appropriate behavior. Collaborate with teachers and staff to address individual student needs. Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or school administration.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required). Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting (preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Must pass background checks and meet any state or district-specific requirements. Per Diem – would be notified w/in ~24 hours of need for the day.
