Part Time Teacher’s Aide Ducklings Early Learning Center – Glenmoore 1556 Horse Shoe Pike, Glenmoore, PA 19343 Ducklings Early Learning Center is currently looking for a creative and caring Teacher Aide to join our team. Must love making new friends, smiling a lot, and going home happily exhausted because you just had The Best Day EVER!!! If you have a passion for working with children, are dedicated to early education, and wish to be surrounded by like-minded individuals, we want you to be a part of our family. Pay Rates are dependent upon level of education and experience Offering part-time shifts for Morning or Afternoon between 3-6 hours daily. RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in a safe and stimulating environment Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play. Help with diapers and potty training when needed. Maintain a clean and organized childcare space and make sure the children go home clean and happy. Follow established routines and schedules. Monitor child’s behavior and address any issues or concerns promptly. Always adhere to best practices with the care of children and the classroom, especially regarding the tone of voice, positive language, and redirecting behaviors.
Prepare children for pick-up by:
Packing up/organizing all belongings to go home Communicate with families at pick-up regarding the child’s day. Greet them, be positive, and introduce yourself if needed.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or care-giving roles. Having a CDA is a plus or actively completing course work in a CDA program. Familiarity with behavior management techniques Must be 18 years or 17 years old if you are actively enrolled in your High School’s Early Childhood Program Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children Willingness to be flexible and work with different age groups Ability to arrive to work on time and as expected
