Key Responsibilities:
Provide emotional support services in a structured classroom setting Create and implement differentiated lesson plans aligned to state and district standards Use formative assessments to guide instruction Support student behavior through clear expectations and consistent routines Collaborate with support staff and administration
Requirements:
Active PA Special Education Certification Bachelors degree required (for emergency permit eligibility if needed) Prior school experience required Ability to complete all required PA clearances Must have strong classroom and behavioral management skills Experience working in urban school environments Comfort and confidence working within the Chester Upland School District setting
