Please no applicants that do not have Day care experience. Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support classroom activities, assist in lesson planning, and foster a positive learning environment for students. This role is particularly suited for individuals with experience in early childhood education and those who have worked with children with autism or in special education settings. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Support students in their learning, providing individualized attention as needed. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative educational environment. Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive atmosphere conducive to learning. Participate in the planning and execution of educational programs, including math and other subjects. Work closely with children who have special needs, ensuring they receive appropriate support. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and strategies. Experience Previous experience in early childhood education or as a Teaching Assistant is preferred. Familiarity with special education practices and working with children on the autism spectrum is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively educate and interact with students and staff. Experience in lesson planning and implementing educational activities is a plus. Background in private school or daycare settings will be beneficial.
