Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher’s Aide to join our team and support our educational programs. The ideal candidate will assist in creating a positive learning environment for students while providing essential classroom support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher
• Provide support to the lead teacher
• Help insure a positive learning environment for the student
• Assist with classroom management, up to and including behavioral concerns
• Re-direct students as needed
• Assist students with lessons as directed by the teacher
• Assist with daily classroom routines, including class transitions
• Monitor lunchroom for assigned class
• Maintain a respectful environment
• Other duties as assigned

Experience/Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with students in an educational environment preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, students, parents, and other staff
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to follow directions
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children and teens
• Must be at least 21 years of age
