• Assist teachers in creating engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to students with special needs.
• Help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and curricula that align with Montessori principles.
• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students, focusing on literacy education and other essential skills.
• Support students with daily routines, such as toileting and feeding, and ensure their overall care is met.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Participate in classroom activities and support teachers with special education needs.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and productive learning environment. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Experience working with students with special needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of literacy education and curriculum development.
• Familiarity with Montessori education and its principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
• Physical ability to assist with student care and mobility.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
