Paraprofessional Certification Teaching Full Job Description Summary:
The Instructional Assistant/Substitute provides academic support and assistance in the classroom under the direction of a certified teacher. The Instructional Assistant works with students and performs additional tasks to support teachers in providing a comprehensive educational program. The Instructional Assistant may also be assigned as a substitute teacher. This position works at the RCCS secondary campus supporting students in grades 6- 12.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required OR 48 semester hours or equivalent of courses at a regionally accredited college or university located in PA OR has 3 years experience as a paraprofessional in a school entity and is currently employed as a paraprofessional in a school entity. Substitute Teaching experience preferred Computer proficiency and experience with Google apps Experience in Urban Education setting Part-Time Positions 30 hours per week, 7:45 a.m. – 2:15 p.m., Monday-Friday Full-Time Position 40 hours per week, 7:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.,
