As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, engaging, and educational environment for toddlers and infants. Your responsibilities will include implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development while ensuring the well-being of each child in your care. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort. Foster a positive learning environment through effective behavior management techniques. Educate children using various teaching methods, including play-based learning, storytelling, and hands-on activities. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Observe and assess children’s developmental milestones to tailor activities to their individual needs. Collaborate with fellow staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on child development. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Experience Previous experience in a daycare setting or similar caregiving role is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. Experience with toddler care, infant care, or nannying is highly valued. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to effectively address children’s needs.
