Instructional Assistant Soaring Abilities Dresher, PA 19025 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support students, who attend virtual charter schools, in their home or community enviornment. This role is particularly focused on assisting students with diverse learning needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder , ADHD and other developmental or medical disabilities Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support for the student at home helping them access their virtual classroom and assignments. Support students with disabilities by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting lessons as needed and directed by their teacher. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding engagement and assignment completion. Help maintain an organized and efficient virtual school enviornment. Engage with parents and caregivers to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Experience At least 1 year experience in working with students in a brick and mortar or virtual educational environment. Proven ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parents. A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for all students.
