This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students and educators in the classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide instructional, behavioral, and/or physical support to students under the supervision of certified teachers Assist with classroom management, small group instruction, and student engagement Support students with special needs in both general education and special education environments Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and accommodate student needs as directed Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to create a supportive learning environment Supervise students during non-instructional times, including transitions, lunch, or recess

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required Must meet Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requirements: Two years of postsecondary study (48 credits), or Associate degree or higher, or Passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment (Praxis ParaPro) Experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude Excellent communication and collaboration skills
