The ideal candidate will assist in implementing lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and providing individualized support to students, particularly in areas of special education and early childhood development. This role is essential in helping to create a nurturing atmosphere that promotes academic success and personal growth. Duties Assist the lead teacher in preparing and implementing curriculum activities and lesson plans. Support students with special needs by providing tailored assistance and encouragement. Facilitate small group activities to enhance literacy education, math skills, and overall classroom engagement. Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to the lead teacher on individual student needs. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning. Participate in classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior among students. Engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety while encouraging social interaction. Support the development of children’s skills in areas such as toddler care, preschool readiness, and childhood development. Skills Strong understanding of curriculum development and lesson planning techniques. Experience or knowledge in special education practices is highly desirable. Background in childcare or preschool settings is preferred. Proficiency in early childhood literacy education and math concepts. Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and adults alike. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
