Position Summary:
We are seeking a warm, energetic, and reliable Teaching Assistant to join our Young Toddler classroom (ages 12-24 months). The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in providing a safe, engaging, and loving environment where toddlers can explore, grow, and thrive.
Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities and routines Support children with daily tasks such as diapering, feeding, and transitions Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom Communicate positively with children, staff, and families Follow center policies and licensing regulations Collaborate with team members and assist in classroom management
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience working with young children in a childcare setting preferred Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and meet physical demands of the role Warm, patient, and professional demeanor Clearances required upon hire:
FBI Fingerprints, Child Abuse, and Criminal Background Check Schedule:
Part-time, approximately 15-25 hours per week Afternoon shift available 12-5:30pm Join us in making a difference in the lives of young learners!
