Dover Area School District is looking for dedicated and qualified Paraprofessionals to assist students in our Autistic Support, Learning Support, Emotional Support, and Life Skills classrooms . These positions provide essential academic and behavioral support to ensure all students have access to meaningful learning experiences.

Position Overview:

Paraprofessionals work closely with teachers to provide instructional support , help students develop social and academic skills, and foster a positive and structured learning environment .

Key Responsibilities:

Assist students with academic tasks, communication, and social skills development . Provide behavioral and emotional support to help students stay engaged in learning. Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior plans under teacher guidance. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to enhance student learning. Supervise and ensure student safety during school activities, lunch, and transitions .

Qualifications:

One of the following is required: ✅ 60 college credits OR ✅ Paraprofessional Certification Experience working with children, especially in special education settings, preferred but not required.
