Under the direction of a Program Manager or Director, this role includes scheduling, data management, event coordination, participant engagement, and hands-on support for field activities such as volunteer events, educational programming, roadside litter removal, and illegal dump site remediation.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdministrative SupportMaintain program calendars and databases.
Perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
Conduct accurate data entry and data management.
Program CoordinationAssist in planning and implementing program activities.
Coordinate logistics for events, workshops, and community initiatives.
Manage participant registration processes.
Field OperationsFacilitate educational activities and initiativesCoordinate the removal of roadside litter and various illegally dumped materials.
Pick up trash and debris from roadways and greenspaces.
Follow directions and adhere to safety precautions during fieldwork.
Additional DutiesSupport recruitment and training of volunteers.
Conduct research to assist with program development.
Prepare program materials and documentation.
Assist where needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new techniques.
