Select Savvy is currently seeking a Signing ASL Paraeducator to support students in Charleston, SC for the 2025-2026 school year.
What You’ll Do:
Facilitate communication between the student and peers, teachers, and staff using American Sign Language (ASL) Assist with classroom activities and provide academic support Help the student navigate daily routines, school events, and extracurricular activities Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other support professionals Maintain confidentiality and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment
Qualifications:
Proficiency in ASL is required Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred High school diploma or equivalent is required Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
