As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating space where young children can learn, play and grow. This role requires a blend of creativity, patience and a deep understanding of child development to foster a love of learning in our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement our curriculum that caters to the age and development stage of the children in your class, promoting their physical, emotional, intellectual and social development. Follow weekly lesson plans that are engaging, educational and fun, incorporating a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles. Observe and assess children’s performance, behavior, social development and physical health. Establish and maintain a clean, tidy, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children’s progress and needs. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to all daycare policies and health and safety regulations. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and improve the daycare’s overall quality of care.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field, as well as a high school diploma. Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting. Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers, assistants and daycare staff. Patience, creativity and a genuine love for working with children.
