Job Description
Family & Household Overview Family of three is in search of a full-time Nanny/Educator and Family Assistant to help nurture their two-year-old daughter’s homeschool education and support their evolving home life. The family leads a dynamic and intentional lifestyle and are hands-on parents that work from home. They intend to homeschool the child with a unique and customized curriculum influenced by Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia philosophies. The family is based primarily in Charleston, SC, with extended time spent at their biodynamic farm estate and a cabin in the woods in California. They anticipate adding more homes in the future and are seeking someone who enjoys travel and finds comfort in dynamic, ever-evolving rhythms. Parents are highly involved, which is why this hybrid role splits time between childcare and family assistant duties. Each parent plays a role in the child’s education, and the nanny will act as an extension of the family support system and will hopefully become a trusted mentor to the child, while also assisting in the smooth operations of the home.
