The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and experience working with young children in various settings, including daycare, preschool, or as a nanny. Responsibilities :
Collaborate with Montessori lead To prepare and maintain the classroom environment. Ensure the safety and well being of our students Be punctual and dependable-your role is key to our daily routine. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Observe and document children’s progress, behavior, and interactions to assist in their development. Keep track of attendance with accurate and up-to-date records. Actively supervise children during mealtimes, naps, and dismissal, after-school care, and outdoor play. Engage in regular meeting with the Montessori Lead and fellow educators to stay connected and aligned. Embrace flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting. Participate in occasional evening events that connect with parents and the community. Have reliable transportation to our West Ashley campus. Experience Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or as a nanny is highly desirable. Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices is preferred. Experience working with diverse groups of children is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff members. A background in education or caregiving related to young children will be considered an asset. Position Details Our full time academic session runs from Monday
- Friday, 7:30am
- 3:30pm, with after school hours from 3:15pm
- 5:30pm.
We’re excited to welcome multiple candidates for full-time, year round positions, including summer camp opportunities. Additionally, there is an opportunity to assure extra hours within our after school program for supplementary compensation.

Candidate Requirements:
Ideal candidate must pass a SLED and Central Registry background check and possess at least a High School Diploma. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and experience working with young children are essential. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 pounds and remain active throughout the day.
